Dr. Matte is a full-time Emergency Physician at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital and an Associate Clinical Professor in the department of Family Medicine with McMaster University. He is passionate about medical education and quality improvement in rural health care. He also has a keen interest in innovative projects such as simulation for Quality Improvement and has been a leader in the in-situ simulation program at CGMH since its inception.
